Doesn't this photo just look way cool? The lighting, the angle, the glasses - I love glasses! That is, indeed, one lifelike looking doll right there. I feel so lucky to have gotten an interview with the owner of the doll; he was very nice and fun to interview. The quick interview is below! Also, be sure to check out the doll owner's other amazing doll photos. To check them out, simply visit his DeviantArt gallery.
--What inspired you to take this picture?: i bought those new glasses for one of my other dolls and decided to try them on nao. i thought he looked nice so i took some pictures.
Besides dolls, what else do you enjoy taking pictures of?: i don't take many pictures other than dolls. sometimes i take pictures of myself and i take pictures at concerts.
What type of dolls are those in the picture (Barbie, Blythe, Bratz, etc....)?: DoT homme ducan from dream of doll.
Did you use PhotoShop, or any other program/software, for the picture?: i use procreate painter classic for changing brightness/contrast, but there's no other editing.-- The End.
Oh, and P.S. I was searching for glasses at Amazon.com, and I found a pair (for humans) that look just about identical to the doll's in the photo above.
"80's Collection 'dakor' classic clear lens glasses"
Nice, huh? They're available for only $10.00 at Amazon.com, you guys! Is that a deal or what?

also you can buy the same glasses from dollmore.net. they're cheap but the shipping is expensive.
I DIDN'T KNOW THAT WAS A DOLL!! OMG! I SAW THE PIC IN MY LATEST BLOG WINDOW AND I THOUGHT IT WAS A PIC OF A PERSON! I LOVE IT!
Lola, that photo is great. The doll even has a "Rembrandt Smile". You're dying to know aren't you?
@pug -- Of course, and thank you for informing me about those glasses. :) DollMore.net? I've never heard of it, but wow; they sell a lot of nice doll stuff there! ♥
@Falen -- Haha, I know! I just love~ when a doll (really) looks like an actual human; it's way cool. :D
@Dust'n Lint -- Dying to know what the doll's teeth look like? And yes, I know, I'm so glad the owner of it allowed me to post it here. :)
Wow, I had to do a double-take. Thought for a second that was your profile pic. Definitely a very lifelike doll! Great interview, and fascinating perspective on this niche artist! Jenn
The ONLY thing that leads on that it's a doll is the arm...other than that, it just looks like a really pale person to me!
A Rembrandt smile, in photography, is when the light source shines on the nose so the shadow of the tip of the nose hits the corner of the mouth.
@Dust'n Lint -- Oh, lol, well, thank you for informing me; that's quite interesting. :) It's so weird how the light sources, the shadows, the angle - all of that stuff really matters while taking a photo.
