How adorable is this drawing? It's a little strange, but I think that brings out the cuteness in it even more! Does that make sense? Anyway, do you see the details? Seriously, from head to toe - flawless!

Doesn't the doll in this digital drawing kind of remind you of Belle, from "Beauty in the Beast"? The brown hair, the yellow dress - you see it? Anyway.... How interesting is this picture? Look at her eyes! I love how the artist drew her skin; the thread stitches look so realistic. A quick interview, with the outstanding artist, is below!

--What inspired you to draw this picture?: a special friend.

Besides dolls, what else do you enjoy drawing pictures of?: EVERYTHING tim burton. and action/adventure scenes.

Did you use PhotoShop, or any other program/software, for the picture?: Yes photoshop, and sometimes i use corel painter X for some of my work. :)-- The End.

Another beautiful drawing by neko490(.deviantart.com). Her art skills are just so incredible; I had to make a second post on it - I couldn't resist. As I was looking through her artwork, I noticed her blog and Tumblr. I suggest you guys check them out. I really enjoyed my visit at both of them - especially the Tumblr; so fascinating!

One of my very most favorite doll drawings ever - so cute! Click on the picture, you guys; see all of the little details up close. I find it pretty amazing how someone could draw something and add so much realism into it. It's unbelievable what a pencil, a piece of paper, and an artist can do when they get together!

Is this drawing incredible or what? The whole entire thing is, like.... perfect, you know? It couldn't be better. I can't believe someone drew this; it's just amazing. I'm so glad the artist allowed me to post their drawing here, on this blog, because I really wanted you guys to see this. Seriously, I could go on and on about the dress, the hair - but I won't. My rambling will stop here. The quick interview, with the artist of this A+ drawing, is below!

--What inspired you to take this picture?: I have always loved dolls and animals, it seems only natural that my mind wanders among them.

Besides dolls and bears, what else do you enjoy drawing pictures of?: I love the fantastical and the surreal, often with a touch of darkness. I draw cats, faeries, dragons, bones, things of the Elizabethan, Victorian and medieval eras, textiles and rocks. I love doing reflective and transparent surfaces and working with light and darkness. Stylistically, I’ve been heavily influenced by the works of Brugal, Durher, McKean, Escher, Victorian woodblock prints and comic books.

Did you use PhotoShop, or any other program/software, for the picture?: Nope! No alterations to the original pencil drawing at all. I’m currently software deficient and need to get some programs. I just scanned it in from my sketchbook with a regular HP printer/scanner thing.

What tools did you use to draw this picture?: I used a Hello Kitty mechanical pencil with HB lead and a Chococat 2B, and their respective erasers. Sanrio really makes quality writing and drawing utensils, plus I can have cats all over every thing.-- The End.

Hey, It's Anita!

Blog readers!

Do you guys see this? Isn't this way awesome? This puts a smile on my face; seriously, I'm smiling right now. Remember the post I did a couple of weeks ago? Titled "Autumn Through the Leaves"? I had so much fun creating that post. The girl who I interviewed for that post is just so nice. Her name is Anita, and you see that "Just Lola" digital drawing right there? Anita drew it for me, with Photoshop and SAI, as a "thank you" for blogging about her. Isn't that the sweetest? I love this picture. It's thousand times better than any "Just Lola" drawing I've ever drawn, that's for sure. Thanks a handful, Anita!

Oh, and P.S. She has a very nice Tumblr - click here to check it out.

Isn't the picture simply adorable? I adore her outfit, hair, pose, expression - just everything! The drawing is just way cute.

Description (from the artist): "One I did a few days ago. Drawn using only colored pencils. I am happy with how the colors go. This is probably my favorite of all I have drawn."
