Hey, It's Anita!

Blog readers!

Do you guys see this? Isn't this way awesome? This puts a smile on my face; seriously, I'm smiling right now. Remember the post I did a couple of weeks ago? Titled "Autumn Through the Leaves"? I had so much fun creating that post. The girl who I interviewed for that post is just so nice. Her name is Anita, and you see that "Just Lola" digital drawing right there? Anita drew it for me, with Photoshop and SAI, as a "thank you" for blogging about her. Isn't that the sweetest? I love this picture. It's thousand times better than any "Just Lola" drawing I've ever drawn, that's for sure. Thanks a handful, Anita!

Oh, and P.S. She has a very nice Tumblr - click here to check it out.

"Would You Like a Flower?"

Her eyelashes look so real. I wonder if they're, like, touchable or just painted on.... Anyway, I simply adore this photo; what a fabulous shot! The hair, the dress, the rose - it all comes together so nicely. I'm so happy that I was able to contact the owner of this lovely photo, therefore, ask her for permission to post it here, on this blog. She was totally cool with it, and so - here it is! The owner's name is Bea, and she just so happens to have a doll blog herself. I mean, seriously, you guys, it's remarkable; you've got to check it out!

Bea's (fantastic) blog = http://lolikko.livejournal.com/

Okay, now, are you guys ready for an interview? The quick interview is below + more photos - from the same shoot!

--What inspired you to take this picture?: A page from my G&L Bible. >w< Besides dolls, what else do you enjoy taking pictures of?: Anything that catches my attention!

What type of dolls are those in the picture (Barbie, Blythe, Bratz, etc....)?: She's a 27cm Dollfie with a New-EB base. :D

Okay, so I've been scrounging around the web for Golden Keepsakes Dolls, and I have to say that this one is definitely my favorite. I adore her dress, hair, even make-up; everything about her is so glamorous and very elegant. I recommend that everyone checks out all of the other Golden Keepsakes Dolls available at Amazon.com. "She is a Golden Keepsake Tassel Doll"

Photo Courtesy of GaiaOnline.com's member, "Spork Bandit"
Isn't this amazing? I love her pose + of course, her wardrobe! It looks like she's at some kind of exciting event. I also love the gold-ish colored lighting - it only brings more excitement to the photo. As you guys probably guessed; I got an interview with the photograph/owner of this fantastic photo. The quick interview is below!

--What inspired you to take this picture?:
Well, I guess I would say that my other doll did. I have another one sort of like her, and I don't like the way her arms are posed as much as this one, so I shot Tahirah instead.

Besides dolls, what else do you enjoy taking pictures of?:
I love taking pictures of nature, but mostly just waterfalls and flowers.

What type of dolls are those in the picture (Barbie, Blythe, Bratz, etc....)?:
She is a Golden Keepsake Tassel Doll.

Did you use PhotoShop, or any other program/software, for the picture?:
No, I did not.

Well, thank you so much for your time. :) I truly appreciate it!:
It's no problem.

Making Faces

Would you like to watch a video of someone creating doll faces? Well then, stroll down a bit; the video is below!

This was by the same person who made that wonderful "Restringing a ball jointed doll" video I recent posted up here. They're good with dolls.
